Day1

Arrival - Kilimanjaro Airport

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Here, you will meet your guides and receive a detailed orientation about your upcoming adventure. They will also check your gear to ensure you are fully prepared for the journey.

Day 2

Moshi to Machame Gate to Machame Camp.

After breakfast, we will drive to the Machame Gate, the starting point of our trek. The 45-minute drive will take us through scenic coffee farms and local villages. At the gate, we will register for the climb while our porters and guides finalize their preparations. Our first day’s destination is the Machame Camp, where we will hike through the moss-covered cloud forest and witness the transformation of vegetation as we gain altitude. The camp will be ready upon our arrival for a well-deserved rest.

Day 3

Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Today’s hike will take us through uphill sections as we make our way to the Shira Camp. Along the way, we will enjoy breathtaking views of forest canopies, golden plains, and the towering peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. The landscape gradually changes, and we will encounter high altitude plants unique to Kilimanjaro. We will reach the Shira Plateau and set up camp for the night, with Kibo and Mount Meru in sight.

Day 4

Shira Camp to Barranco Camp

Today is the pinnacle of our journey as we make our way to the summit of Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. We start our ascent before midnight, using headlamps to illuminate the path. The climb to the crater rim is physically demanding but incredibly rewarding. As the sun rises, we reach the summit and celebrate our achievement amidst breathtaking views. After taking in the beauty of the surroundings, we descend to the Mweka Camp, where we spend the night.

Day 7

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Our final day on the mountain involves a pleasant hike through the mystical cloud forest. We urge caution as the trail can be slippery. Upon reaching the Mweka Gate, you can purchase souvenirs and celebrate your accomplishment. Our vehicle will transport you back to Moshi, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible Kilimanjaro experience.

Day 8

Transfer to Zanzibar

Today, we bid farewell to Moshi as we board a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to Kendwa, a beautiful coastal village in the northern part of the island. Here, you can enjoy the golden sandy beaches and sparkling turquoise waters, immersing yourself in the beauty of Zanzibar.

Day 9-10

Relaxation in Kendwa
