How many Mountain Guides can a Climber Have?

A maximum of two climbers per guide is required while climbing Kilimanjaro, and at least two guides are required for parties of two or more climbers. This guarantees that there will always be adequate guides to help climbers who require descend while enabling all other climbers to safely complete their summit ascent. Kilimanjaro National Park laws mandate minimum guide-to-climber ratios, which apply to all climbs booked via Tranquil Kilimanjaro. As a result, there will always be one lead guide for each group, and all other guides will be designated as assistant guides.
