This 9-day wildebeest migration safari was created to follow the Great Migration of the gnus. The tour takes us to the epicenter of this magnificent earthly spectacle that takes center stage every year. We have three nights in the Serengeti, so we have plenty of time to explore the expansive Serengeti grasslands. We also get to spend a few days watching the great migration, which takes place in the Serengeti’s northernmost section from August to October.
This safari has been planned to focus on the famous Serengeti wildebeest migration and to enhance your chances of seeing it. During the months of August to October, the northern Serengeti’s Kogatende migration area that borders the Mara River is the ideal place to see herds of wildebeest grazing on the abundant short grass plains while contemplating crossing the crocodile-infested river.

Predator activity is at an all-time high, with excellent sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena, and leopard, as well as a strong opportunity of witnessing adrenaline-pumping kills on the river that dissects the Masai Mara of Kenya and the famous Serengeti National Park of Tanzania.

Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, you will travel to Tarangire National Park for a wildlife drive and a picnic lunch. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, is the source of the park’s name. During the dry season, it provides the only source of water for the local wildlife. Elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons are among popular attractions in the park.

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park awaits you on the third day of this 10-day safari in Tanzania as we set out after breakfast for some game viewing and a picnic lunch. When water levels are high, the lake may cover up to 200 square kilometers (77 square miles) of the park’s 330 square kilometers (127 square miles). Elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and maybe even a famous tree-climbing lion can all be found around Lake Manyara. You should get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool at some point during your game drive to stretch your legs and see the hippos.

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater & Conservation Area

After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater for some wildlife viewing and a picnic lunch. This park is one of the world’s most densely populated wildlife habitats, with an estimated 30,000 animals. The crater is known as “Africa’s Eden” and is regarded as the world’s eighth natural wonder. A visit to this incredible location is the major attraction for visitors to Tanzania, and it is unquestionably a world-class destination!

Large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze within the crater rim, while lions nap and sunbathe close. After feeding on dew-laden grass in the early mist, the endangered black rhino will return to the dense cover of the crater woods at daybreak.

Maasais herdsmen move their livestock and goats across verdant pastures and up highland slopes just outside the crater’s ridge. They have coexisted with the fauna in this area for millennia.

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for wildlife watching and a picnic lunch along the way. The Serengeti is a huge, untamed wilderness that spans over 6,000 square kilometers. When you add in an incredible population of resident and migratory species fighting for life, it’s easy to see why this region is sometimes referred to as “the world as it was in the beginning.” The animal viewing will begin as soon as you reach the park! Look for leopards and lions, and be amazed when zebras and wildebeests emerge from the woods and grasslands.

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6-7

Serengeti Safari

On a game drive, you’ll spend the entire day visiting Serengeti National Park. You have the option of eating a cooked lunch at the camp or a picnic in the park. We strongly advise you to go on a game drive early in the morning to experience the dawn in the heart of the bush while observing wild creatures in the park.

  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8

Serengeti National Park - Lake Natron

You will depart the Serengeti after breakfast and go on a wildlife drive on way to Lake Natron. Several times along the walk, you will pass the lake, where you may swim and cool down under the waterfalls.
