This 10 day itinerary perfectly blends breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, and unique cultural experiences. Every day is packed with excitement and wonder, from the bustling markets of Arusha where you will begin your adventure to the vast plains of the Serengeti. With this safari, we welcome you to experience adventure in the heart of Africa’s most iconic destinations, including Tarangire National Park, also known as the land of the giants, as it is a natural habitat for gigantic elephants and the humongous baobabs, and Lake Manyara National Park. The Ngorongoro Crater, a world heritage site that boasts a high density of resident wildlife, not forgetting the rhinoceros, also features in this ten-day experience. Serengeti is a must-visit destination in Tanzania, and it is included in the itinerary as well, featuring prominently before heading to Lake Natron. This safari has everything for you, from witnessing the majestic elephants of Tarangire, the tree-climbing lions of the Serengeti National Park or the flamingos of Lake Natron. This rather long safari will leave you with memories to cherish forever.

You’ll be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven to Arusha for supper/dinner and an overnight stay before beginning your 10 Days safari in Tanzania. Your guide can give you a tour of Arusha if time permits. The clock tower, as well as the local market, will be visible. Take advantage of today’s opportunity to convert currencies and purchase a local SIM card to make international calls.
Following breakfast, you will travel to Tarangire National Park, popular for roaming elephants and dotted baobabs scattered everywhere in the horizon for a wildlife drive and a picnic lunch. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, is the source of the park’s name. During the dry season, it provides the only source of water for the local wildlife. Elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons are among the popular attractions in the park.
Lake Manyara National Park awaits you on the third day of this 10-day safari in Tanzania as we set out after breakfast for some game viewing and a picnic lunch. When water levels are high, the lake may cover up to 200 square kilometres (77 square miles) of the park’s 330 square kilometres (127 square miles). Elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes, and maybe even a famous tree-climbing lion can all be found around Lake Manyara. You should get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool at some point during your game drive to stretch your legs and see the hippos.
After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater for some wildlife viewing and a picnic lunch. This park is one of the world’s most densely populated wildlife habitats, with an estimated 30,000 animals. The crater is known as “Africa’s Eden” and is regarded as the world’s eighth natural wonder. A visit to this incredible location is the major attraction for visitors to Tanzania, and it is unquestionably a world-class destination!
Large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze within the crater rim, while lions nap and sunbathe close by. After feeding on dew-laden grass in the early mist, the endangered black rhino will return to the dense cover of the crater woods at daybreak.
Maasai herdsmen move their livestock and goats across verdant pastures and up highland slopes just outside the crater’s ridge. They have coexisted with the fauna in this area for millennia.
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for wildlife watching and a picnic lunch along the way. The Serengeti is a huge, untamed wilderness that spans over 6,000 square kilometres. When you add in an incredible population of resident and migratory species fighting for life, it’s easy to see why this region is sometimes referred to as “the world as it was in the beginning.” The animal viewing will begin as soon as you reach the park! Look for leopards and lions, and be amazed when zebras and wildebeests emerge from the woods and grasslands.
On a game drive, you’ll spend the entire day visiting Serengeti National Park, we want you to experience the Serengeti fully, as it is the epitome of all the safari experiences. You have the option of eating a cooked lunch at the camp or a picnic in the park. We strongly advise you to go on a game drive early in the morning to experience the dawn in the heart of the bush while observing wild creatures in the park.
You will depart the Serengeti after breakfast and go on a wildlife drive on way to Lake Natron. The Ngarasero Escarpment, the waterfalls, the gorge, Oldonyo Lengai (a still active volcano), and the flamingos across the lake are all stunning. We’ll go for a walk to the waterfalls today. Several times along the walk, you will pass the lake, where you may swim and cool down under the waterfalls.
Today, get up early and see the sunrise over the lake. Take a walk around the area to watch the flamingos. We’ll spend the morning in Lake Natron, completing whatever activities we didn’t get around to the day before. You’ll leave the lake after lunch and travel to Arusha, arriving in time for the evening.
