Actress Deeya Pun successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest (Sagarmatha), the tallest peak in the world, early On Friday 27th May 2022 at 5 am. She was joined by fellow mountaineers Nirmal Purja, Mingma Tenzi Sherpa, and a team of 20 members who embarked on the challenging climb through Purja’s Elite Expedition. The group managed to conquer the 8,848.86-meter peak and safely return to the South Col. Purja expressed his pride in the team’s achievement and their determination to surpass their own limits. Actress Pun, who previously conquered Mount Aconcagua in Argentina and Mount Manaslu, undertook the climb of Mount Everest to support three charities at a personal cost of Rs. 4.2 million. The charities being supported include the National Health Service (NHS) Together in the UK, Colchester Hospitals Charity, and Children and Youth First in Nepal. This remarkable feat comes shortly after singer Raju Lama also scaled Mount Everest in an effort to raise awareness about climate change.

Actress Deeya Pun achieved a remarkable feat by reaching the summit of Africa’s tallest peak on 12th August 2023 at 7:30 am. It took her 7 hours to reach the summit. She successfully climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro on a Sunday morning at 7 am. Deeya proudly shared a photo on social media showing her raising the Nepalese flag at the mountain’s peak. She expressed immense joy in realizing her dream of conquering the 5,895 meters (19,341 feet) tall mountain. Last year, Deeya also conquered the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest, during Jestha. Prior to that, she scaled Manaslu, which stands at 8,163 meters making it the eighth-highest mountain globally. In 2018, Deeya also made it to the summit of Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina, reaching an impressive height of 6,961 meters. Her ultimate ambition is to conquer the seven highest peaks in the world. Deeya, known for her acting debut in the film “Bir Bikram,” starred in “Antim Sanskar” released last Ashadh. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, Deeya’s acting skills received high praise from critics. Her upcoming movie “Dayarani” is eagerly anticipated by her fans.
