In fact, the frequency at which you encounter captivating subjects to photograph may make you feel as if your camera is permanently attached to your face throughout the entire trip. For those equipped with a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera, it is advisable to bring along a couple of zoom lenses. One of the lenses should be a wide-angle option, ranging from approximately 18mm to 135mm. The other lens should be a smaller telephoto lens, although its usefulness on Kilimanjaro is limited. The main focus will be on capturing panoramic shots of the mountain and breathtaking wide-angle views. However, there may be occasions where you may want to zoom in on a bird of prey or a specific feature of the mountain.
