Location of the Maridadi Hotel

The Maridadi Hotel is located off Kibosho Road in the outskirts of Moshi, along Plateau Farm Road, just 200 meters off the busy Moshi-Arusha highway on Kibosho Road. The hotel is just 40 to 45 minutes by car from Kilimanjaro International Airport, a key entry point for international visitors flying in from the United States, Europe, the Middle East, or beyond.

Lying at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, the hotel offers unobstructed views of the mountain on clear days, with its majestic outline rising like a guardian over the horizon. This proximity makes it an ideal base for those planning to tackle the world’s highest freestanding mountain. Machame and Umbwe gates are the closest Kilimanjaro Park entries from Maridadi, and climbers often choose Maridadi for pre-trek nights, where they can acclimatise in comfort before heading to trailheads like Machame or Marangu Gates, which are within easy reach.
