How to get there?

We can get there by either driving or trekking, with the latter being the more convenient option. The journey will take you past the majority of the public campgrounds, which are perfect if you would like to spend the night there, and then it will lead you up a small dirt road that is only wide enough for one car. There are certain areas that have a quite steep ascent, so you have the best hope that your vehicle is able to withstand the strain. You also have the option of renting a four-wheel-drive car from one of the rental businesses. This will ensure that you have the necessary vehicle to navigate the challenging terrain. Additionally, be sure to check the weather conditions before embarking on your journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

Walking is the alternative that offers the most picturesque view, but in order to ensure your safety, you will need to bring along some quality hiking gear and an armed ranger. You would first be obliged to report to the Momela gate, where you would get instructions or even a ranger (if necessary). This would be the case regardless of the circumstances.
