Nainokanoka Village

The Nainokanoka Village is a tiny Maasai settlement in the Ngorongoro conservation area, located at the eastern foot of Olmoti crater. Hikes to the top of Olmoti’s rim, as well as surrounding mountains like Lolmalasin and Losirua, may be started from here.

In northern Tanzania, the Nainokanoka settlement is roughly a 10-minute drive from the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro crater and immediately adjacent to the Olmoti crater. Getting there

From the closest Loduare gate or anyplace else inside the conservation area, via car (own, rental, or tours and travel). There is no preference for 4×4, but you must pay for the necessary permits before entering.
